Application for Student Club International Activity Subsidy (OIA)
Semester 115-1 / Fall 2026
To encourage student clubs to organize international exchange activities, the University (OIA) provides subsidies for eligible student clubs. After completing the application and reimbursement procedures, club presidents and eligible officers may also receive commendations.
Applicable Activity Period
Activities must be held during Semester 115-1 (Fall 2026), from September through December 2026.
Important Dates
- Application Period: August 31 (Mon) – September 24 (Thu), 2026, by 5:00 PM
- Reimbursement Deadline: December 11 (Fri), 2026, by 5:00 PM ( Late submissions will not be accepted )
I. Eligibility
- Applicant clubs must complete their Semester 115-1 club registration in the Club Activity Information System before applying.
- Double funding is not allowed. Each activity may receive funding from only one University unit. If an activity receives funding from more than one University unit, the subsidy will be recovered.
II. Subsidy Categories
1. Standard Subsidy
The Standard Subsidy is available for:
- Academic or cultural activities organized by international student clubs; or
- Activities that promote interaction and exchange between local and international students.
2. Buddy Club Partnership Incentive
The Buddy Club Partnership Incentive supports joint activities organized by two or more student clubs to promote cross-cultural exchange.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Buddy Club Incentive:
- The activity must be jointly organized by two or more student clubs.
- At least one participating club must be an officially registered international student club.
- The participating clubs must have a signed Buddy Club Partnership Letter of Intent (LOI).
Additional Proposal Requirements
The activity proposal must clearly include all of the following:
- Cross-cultural communication objectives
- A clear division of responsibilities among members of different nationalities
- A plan for handling cross-cultural conflicts, if they arise
Additional Subsidy
Applications that clearly meet all three requirements above may receive an additional 30%–60% subsidy on top of the standard approved subsidy amount.
The final subsidy amount will be determined by the review committee.
III. Commendations
New This Semester
Starting this semester, clubs may receive commendations based on the number of completed activities if they meet all of the following criteria:
- Successfully apply for this international activity subsidy;
- Complete the approved activities; and
- Achieve a reimbursement rate of 90% or higher, calculated as Actual Reimbursed Amount ÷ Approved Subsidy Amount.
Commendation Criteria
The number of commendations is based on the number of completed activities:

| 1–2 activities | Club President: 1 Commendation |
| 3–6 activities | Club President: 2 Commendations; the President may nominate 1 officer for 1 Commendation |
| 7 or more activities, or one activity with 100 or more participants | Club President: 2 Commendations; the President may nominate 2 officers, each for 1 Commendation |
Important: The award categories are mutually exclusive. Each club may receive only one award category and cannot receive additional commendations based on another category.
Buddy Club Partnership Commendation
The Club President of a club that successfully carries out a Buddy Club joint activity will receive 1 additional Commendation.
This commendation is separate from and may be combined with the commendations awarded based on the number of completed activities above.
IV. Application Procedure
Step 1: Submit an Activity Application
Submit your activity application through the Club Activity Information System.
- A separate application is required for each activity.
- For Buddy Club joint activities, each participating club must submit its own application for the same joint activity, using the same activity proposal.
Step 2: Submit Required Documents by Email
By September 24 (Thu), 2026, at 5:00 PM, email the required documents to:

- Attachment 2: Buddy Club Partnership Letter of Intent (LOI)
(Required only for Buddy Club Incentive applications. All participating clubs must submit the same LOI.)
Step 3: Notification
Approved applicants will be notified of the approved subsidy amount by email.
V. Reimbursement Process
This subsidy is provided on a post-event reimbursement basis.
After completing the activity, submit the following documents to the Student Activity Division by December 11 (Fri), 2026, at 5:00 PM.

- Attachment 3: Reimbursement Report
- Attachment 4: Buddy Club Meeting Minutes
(Required only for Buddy Club Incentive applications. At least one set of meeting minutes or other collaboration records must be submitted using the provided template.)
Late reimbursement submissions will not be accepted.
